Instruction

Responsibility and independence

Classroom instruction at our Institute is designed to provide comprehensive general and technical training for future working requirements. Subjects taught are thus geared to the demands of the market and the working world; by the same token, we pursue a teaching concept appropriate to adult education courses, whereby students are attentively tutored but at the same time encouraged to take responsibility for their own progress, expanding their knowledge and developing thier skills on their own initiative.

Responsibility and independence
Cosmopolitan in its character

International in its ideals, cosmopolitan in its character

Our pedagogical aim is to turn out graduates not only with a sound technical grounding but also fit to take on the challenges of Europe, growing international cooperation and global markets. Coming as they do from so many nations, the staff at Munich Municipal Foreign Languages Institute are imbued with a cosmopolitan sense of tolerance and a desire to provide top-quality language training to motivated and appropriately-qualified young people. The teaching day is compact, each unit transparent, grounding thorough and advanced themes are goal-oriented.

Endeavouring to expand horizons

But there is more to our courses than learning language and theory in an atmosphere at once motivating and relaxing. The Institute also organizes a wide range of projects, facultative courses, lecture series, workshops and extra-mural undertakings. Students improve their knowledge and cultivate their contacts by participating in visits to companies and trips abroad. Top-level international educational collaboration also sees our students move on to MA courses and EU exchange programmes.
